Home Resource's mission is to divert reusable materials from the landfill and lessen the need for new products to be created, thereby saving our natural resources.

Home ReSource works to minimize the environmental impact of construction projects by providing contractors and individuals with a place to bring used and surplus materials thus keeping reusable materials out of the landfill. While also supplying the community with affordable and environmentally friendly options.

Home ReSource's staff and volunteers are committed to reducing and recycling waste. As we learn to re-use what is available, the demand for a continuing supply of raw materials and the associated environmental impact is significantly reduced. "The virtue of recycling used building materials lies in diminishing the need for industry to recreate it. All of the energy that is spent in manufacturing and transporting something can be saved. The raw materials that would be drawn from the earth can be saved. The need to cover the item in the local landfill can be saved."
