Giving materials a second chance at life, but this time around as something other than what it was originally intended for. The Creative Community Art Project gives artists, families, and anyone with an interest; free range to choose materials from the Home ReSource yard and create art that will permanently adorn the Home ReSource yard and the landfill for all to enjoy. This is an opportunity to create something outside of the box, to get you thinking differently about the products we use.

There was lots of participation and interest in our Giving Bikes Back program, so we are going to continue it by doing another bike roundup, restoration, and giveaway. First time around Home ReSource was able to refurbish and giveaway 24 bikes with volunteer effort and with the help of Wheels Bike Shop. The bikes were donated to members of the following organizations: Partners, The Girls and Boys Club of Craig, Perry Mansfield, Lift-Up of Routt county, and other locals in need of bikes who responded to ads for the program. So we are once again looking for donations, volunteers to help fix the bikes we collect between now and then, and people in need of bikes.
